              Preliminary Program Guidelines and Requirements:
              The Luzerne County Small Business Sustainability Grant Program is administered by the Greater Hazleton, Greater Pittston and Greater Wyoming Valley Chambers of Commerce. It is made possible by funding provided by Luzerne County as part of their American Rescue Plan Act allocation. The program provides recovery support to small businesses in two categories: $5,000 to businesses with less than 20 employees and $10,000 to businesses with 20 - 49 employees. Eligible businesses must: • Be physically located in Luzerne County • Be currently open and operational • Employ 1-49 employees • Certify how the pandemic negatively impacted their business • Expend funds in Luzerne County when possible. Applicants will be required to provide the following documents: • Organization documentation for the business • Two years of tax returns • Signed Certification Statement • Signed Program Agreement • Brief narrative explaining how the funding will be used • W-3 required for businesses claiming 20 or more employees. Please be advised that eligibility requirements and required documentation will be dictated by the federal grant requirements and are subject to change.
